Safety Policy

Jandakot Airport Holdings Pty Ltd (JAH) is committed to systemically managing safety which is expressed in the organisation’s safety policy. The JAH Safety Policy is endorsed by the Managing Director and summarises management’s commitment to, and responsibility for, safety. 

 

Reporting Incidents & Hazards

Jandakot Airport Holdings Pty Ltd is committed to providing and maintaining a safe working and operating environment in which staff, tenants and visitors are not unduly exposed to hazards. 

  • All safety and security events experienced by tenants and visitors which has resulted in harm or damage to people and equipment should be reported to JAH on the Incident and Hazard Reporting Form linked below.

  • All safety and security issues identified by tenants and visitors that could cause harm, damage or injury, or have a negative consequence should be reported to JAH on the Incident and Hazard Reporting Form linked below.

All aircraft operators are required to report incidents (including, but not limited to tail strikes and excursions) that could have any effect on the runways to the JAH Duty Reporting Officer immediately on 0417 827 557 so any Foreign Object Debris (FOD) can be removed timeously.

Airside Works

All JAH airside tenants are required to notify JAH of any airside works. JAH are required to assess works for aviation safety risks and determine if a Works Safety Officer is required to supervise the works and/or set up exclusion zones etc.  If you are looking to perform any airside works, please download and complete the Safety Assessment for Tenant Airside Works and Maintenance Form and email to This email address is being protected from spambots. Contractor Safety

Airports operate within a highly regulated environment and there are special conditions that apply to any person working at Jandakot Airport that may not apply at other sites.  All contractors engaged by JAH must complete an online induction or  in person induction as determined by JAH.

  1. Contact name of person/s doing the induction.
  2. Email address for person/s doing the induction.

Note:  The system requires individual profiles to be set up so the email addresses must be unique.

All JAH Inductions are valid for a period of 12 months.
